The harvest is being brought in at full steam - 3rd cut of forage and winter barley harvested

Gut Hülsenberg used several days of good weather to bring in its 3rd cut of forage and harvest its winter barley.

With 9 tons of fresh matter per hectare and about 30% dry matter, the grass yields were reassuringly high. BONSILAGE FORTE was used at the start of chopping, followed by BONSILAGE PLUS later in the process.

The good weather conditions with adequate rain and warm temperatures in spring delivered an above-average yield of winter barley.

No sooner had the barley straw been brought in than a thunderstorm delivered 20 mm of rain in the following night, creating excellent conditions for a good 4th cut.
