New record for lifetime yield at Gut Hülsenberg

02.07.2018
Milchkuh Frauke

In spring 2018, Frauke, who was sired by Aaron, exceeded the 150,000 litre milk mark and in doing so set a new lifetime yield record at the Gut Hülsenberg.

Frauke has produced in total over 11 tons of fat and protein per kg over 10 lactations. Only about 20 living cows in Germany have achieved this. Frauke is classified as VG-86 and her immaculate conformation and udder are still impressive. Thus, she embodies the Hülsenberg breeding goal of a high-yielding cow with a long useful life. She is currently dry and expecting her 11th calf.

She has also passed on the high-yield trait to the following generations: Grand-daughter "Sanni VG-85" (sire: Skycrest) was the highest yielding heifer in Schleswig-Holstein in the last monitoring year, with a 305-day yield of 14443 kg milk with 3.83 % fat and 3.32 % protein.
