Maize harvest under difficult conditions - Some fields could not be driven on at all

The maize harvest on Gut Hülsenberg started on 9 October 2017. Poor weather with more than 100 mm of rain had delayed the harvest by a good two weeks.

Wet fields caused tractors and harvesters to get bogged down repeatedly, and some fields could not be driven on at all. These will probably be harvested by late October or early November.

Maize silage to be used as cattle feed was treated with the silage additive BONSILAGE FIT M, while SILASIL ENERGY XD was applied to silage for biogas generation.
