BONSILAGE SPEED G markedly accelerates the ensiling process! - Best ensiling result for the 1st cut on Gut Hülsenberg

The 1st cut for 2017, which had been treated with BONSILAGE SPEED G, was opened again after a short ensiling period, as planned. The good appearance and pleasant smell evident as soon as the silo was opened were already indicative of impeccably high silage quality.

This positive initial impression was then confirmed by laboratory and feed intake results: the silage is accepted very well by cows and remains stable even under hot and dry summer conditions.

This excellent result is due to over 6% lactic acid and 3.1% acetic acid in DM with a very low pH level of 4.15. The silage is fully fermented.

An energy content of 6.52 MJ NEL per kg DM and 19.5% crude protein complete the picture of a top-quality silage.

BONSILAGE SPEED G has again shown that this unique combination of lactic acid bacteria strains containing Lactobacillus diolivorans produces silage markedly more quickly.
