Space for 25,000 m³ slurry - Gut Hülsenberg is making available a disused lagoon

The persistent wet weather means many farmers are having problems storing or spreading their slurry. The storage capacities in Schleswig-Holstein are virtually exhausted.

Therefore, the decision was taken together with the contractor Blunk to reactivate the lagoon on Gut Hülsenberg, which had been disused for the last ten years. With 25,000 m³, it is the largest excavated lagoon in Schleswig-Holstein.

After the contractor pumped out the rainwater and created an access road, the lagoon was assessed and deemed ready for use. The facility was fully booked after only one day.
